AIESEC is an international organization founded in 1948 between 7 countries in Europe with the idea that the mobility of youth could get us closer to the peace and fulfillment of humankind’s potential. Over 65 years later, AIESEC is now present in more than 126 countries and territories around the world, each entity working towards impacting more youth through cross-cultural exchanges through volunteer and internship placements that also benefits the communities. Each year 25,000 youth participates in a life-changing exchange program through AIESEC.

Here in AIESEC Victoria we engage with youth between the ages of 18-30 in connecting them with international volunteer and internship opportunities that develop their values based on the United Nation’s Sustainability Development Goals and develop their leadership through activating four key qualities: self-awareness, empowering others, world citizen, and solution-oriented. In addition, we work with local businesses and other organizations in hiring young professionals from around the world that bring a unique blend of innovation, professional skills, and cross-cultural connection to the Victorian community.

Since the 1990s, over 100 youths in Victoria participated in an AIESEC exchange. Similarly, we welcomed nearly 100 young professionals from around that world that made a positive and innovative impact in the community through their internships in various of local businesses.
