Free Film Screening: Bag It
Wednesday, July 5 @ 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm
Join people from over 130 countries and choose to refuse single-use plastics during Plastic Free July (http://www.plasticfreejuly.org)! Hopefully by November, we will become a single-use plastic bag free Victoria 12 months of the year!
To help us all understand a little more about single-use plastic waste, we are hosting a free screening of the documentary Bag It (45 mins). This documentary will make you laugh, but more importantly you will see how vital and simple it is to refuse single-use plastics. Bring your kids and your parents – this is an all-ages event!
After the film, we will have a short panel dicussion on the issues of single-use plastics and how Surfrider is working with local governments, bussinesses and our community to Ban the Bag!
Doors Open at 6:30
Film starts at 7:00pm
Panel starts at 8:00pm
